The underground buzz is spreading beyond their local music scene. Mind Is Yours is in rotation on radio stations as far away as Germany. Thousands of fans have registered with the band's e-mailing list. Success is attracting local radio including Sharon Walsh of Live 105 (San Francisco's leading modern rock station), ALICE Radio has recently nominated Wake as their choice for the California Music Awards Contest, Bay Area club promoters and booking agents. A deal has been secured with a licensing agent, attracting interest from television networks and movie studios. Wake recently was chosen by Spike Jonze (Being John Malkovich, Adaptation, Beastie Boys, Fatboy Slim, Weezer, Jackass) to compose the music for his latest directors expose highlighting his catalogue of video and film credits and has received praise from such well-respected musicians as Kevin Cadogan (formerly of Third Eye Blind), Greg Camp (Smash Mouth) and Luke Esterkyn (Stroke 9). Wake has joined forces with Smash Mouth drummer Michael Urbano, (Sheryl Crow, Cracker, Third Eye Blind), producers Karl Derfler (No Doubt, Dave Mathews Band) and Ren Klyce (Fight Club, Se7ev), for their latest endeavor...The Radiate Sessions.
