A majority of the lyrics on this album were written by HILLBILLY in his prison cell at West TN. state Prison. HILLBILLY first recorded on a small, generic 8-track cassette recorder, using a Yamaha keyboard for his beats. HILLBILLY spent four years in prison for Sale of Schedulle II narcotics. This is the most REAL & TRUE album you have ever heard. Everyone can relate to the songs on this album, from urban youth to small town folks, HILLBILLY expresses his anger and frustration at problems that affect us all. From dealing with snitches, to heartless police, backstabbing friends, scandalous women, and heartbreaks, no stone is left unturned. Hillbilly shows a softer side in tracks such as "Dream Big", which was written as a letter home to his young neice, and "In My Dreams", written in memory of fallen friends. There is also tracks such as "Picture This", for the sole purpose of setting the mood to "get ya freak on", and a smoker's ballad titled "Ganja In My Life".
