After going hiatus for merely 9 years, one of the most highly anticipated group "Sova" has finally returned. The duo which contains Lawrence Aswin (Larry) and Edward Andez (Andezzz) has brought up more up to date, upbeat & fresh new singles along with their comeback in 2014. Many agreed, that their debut album Tempo Tantrum that was released in 2003 has made quite an entrance in the Indonesian dance/electronic/jazz scene and was labeled as a pioneer at that time, not to mention the unique live performances that attracted lots of audience in festivals, parties or events. Their ability to combine elements from numerous genre like jazz, electronic, soulful, house music is what made them stuck out among the local acts. Before Andezzz and Larry went on separate ways in 2006, Sova has accomplished to release 2 albums and an EP mini album that gained a lot of praises. The array of musicians, producers and artists that has collaborated with Sova in their career was also very vast.

In their leave, Larry and Andezzz pursued different paths. Larry took a full time job as a music composer for TV commercial, while still doing remixes for other artists. Andezzz went on a solo career as a producer and formed a collective called Departure People, that has released 3 albums. He also had a career in DJing and co-founded Laxity Recordings, a digital distribution label. The two of them went on their own journey in creating, shaping, polishing their skills, taste, and vision in music. Apart from their own career, the duo producers thought that the collaboration has been long overdue. In 2014 they decided to regroup and produce new singles that are more dance-floor friendly and are looking forward to perform on shows just like what they were before. Only difference is they are way better than before. Sova is back!
