简介
NONEtheLESS – www.ntlband.com NONEtheLESS of Dallas, TX is a hard rock/alternative band consisting of five members: Trip Mader (guitars, vocals), Gordie O’Shea (guitars), Rowdy Adams (drums), Jmart Michael (vocals), and Bean Scott (bass, vocals). History Formed in 2003, Trip and Bean decided to start a new band, having had limited success together in a previous band. They added Rowdy and Sarah, thus forming NONEtheLESS. The band began as a concept cover band, mixing originals with popular cover songs. A group decision was reached in the spring of 2005 to focus purely on writing original music, which resulted in several changes in the band, including in its personnel. After experiences with several lead singers, Jmart joined the group in the summer of 2005 and instantly added his unique vocal style to the mix. The current lineup has been in place since February 2006 with the addition of Gordie on guitars. Side note: when two chicks, a big black man & two heathens come across the stage…we give the fans a show of their life! Sound NONEtheLESS is currently one of the on-the-rise Dallas-area hard rock acts, mixing powerful, edgy guitar riffs with rhythmic groove and soaring vocals, and a live show that is energetic and captivating. Their sound ranges from heavy metal to blues-tinged rock to pure alternative. They have drawn comparisons to Sevendust, Tool, Breaking Benjamin, Led Zeppelin, Rage Against the Machine, Clutch, and others. Review – Harder Beat Magazine http://harderbeat.com/archive/aug06/html/live_reviews.html NONEtheLESS - Tomcats, 7/23/06 Playing for a solid crowd, this five-piece pulled out all the stops. Their set included dueling guitar shreds from Gordie O’Shea and Trip Mader, a huge American flag waving during a guitar rendition of the “Star Spangled Banner” and some female-friendly posing from front man JMart. Rowdy Adams (drums) and Bean Scott (bass) drove songs that ranged from heavy metal to blues-tinged rock to pure alternative. Even their imperfections showed great promise and fearlessness. NTL worked the stage and the crowd like seasoned pros, showing potential to become a staple in the local scene and beyond. (Mark Beneventi). Gordie O’Shea hails from Detroit, Michigan where he received a review award as one of the top ten guitar players in the region. Angela Adams and Kelly Mader were recently in the Harder Beat’s “Girls who Rock” feature. Renegade Radio.net – huge supporters, listen in live.
