The ‘Rise Up’ E.P which features some notable collaborations including the Legendary Papa San and Bobby Bovell sees Lyrical Soldier touch on subjects including; Homelessness, Alcoholism, Young people’s attitudes towards crime and desperate call for people to rise up from their difficulties and aim for a better outcome through having faith in God. Lyrical Soldier, real name Michael Agyei is of Ghanaian origin and is a preacher, singer, rapper and a spoken word poet aiming to take Gospel Music to higher heights. 2013 has already seen the mainstream music industry recognize this talented new gospel artist by making the coveted list for Ones to Watch 2013 being put together by one of the world’s biggest music organisations, the Urban Music Awards. The number one, hip hop, r&b, gospel, and dance music awards ceremony held in the UK, USA, France, Caribbean and Africa annually.
