"Candy Girl" took about a week to record. It was sequenced using the Ensoniq VFX-SD keyboard for the basic tracks and Roland Juno 106 for the bass lines. Background harmonies were a combination of the Digitech Vocalist 2 harmonizer, along with overdubs of additional vocal harmonies on multiple tracks of a digital 24 track recorder. Main vocals were added last. Additionally, the Korg Triton Extreme keyboard was used for added instrumentation during overdubs.
