Moses Blue was first formed in New York City by Del. The band played often in the clubs and bars of Manhattan. Del left New York, and moved Los Angeles. There he formed a West Coast version of the band. They released "The Thing Is" in 2008 and "This Is That" in 2010. Their next album, entitled "What It Is" is scheduled for Fall 2013 release. Del performs the vocals on this tune and plays the guitars and keyboards. Don Sternecker adds a synth track on it as well. The song was recorded at Mix-O-Lydian Studios in Lafayette, New Jersey.
