The instrumental and improvisional musical sketches written on "Lakeside" were written and recorded in my home studio between 2005 and 2008. The title of the CD is an obvious reference to the magnificient views of Lake Cable in Canton, Ohio the site of an now abandoned famous amusement park where I was then living in a small apartment. A period of intense personal change, new love, and spiritual and personal growth, the ever present views of the water, wildlife, boats, serene sunsets and my reflections on life all magically combined to inspire these pieces. Often shared with many family and friends the music is almost always described as calming, uplifting and soothing to the soul. I sincerely wish that it provides the same feelings to you the listener.
