Cornelius Mehguel Garrett (born September 14, 1988), better known by his stage name Shoose M.C.G.E.E (Choose Music Cornelius Garrett Enjoys Everyday), is an American rapper, video director, and American philanthropist born in Henderson, TX (East Texas). Spending most of his teen years in Arlington, TX, he found a love for dancing, acting & script writing. After graduating and receiving his high school diploma in the year 2008, he attended Tarrant County College (in Arlington, TX) to study drama. With dreams of becoming a film major and having a promising acting career, soon this dream was cut short when he changed paths aside from college to pursue a different dream, which was a hobby he enjoyed most of his childhood, rapping. In 2010, he began recording a series of freestyles and covers at in home studios under the stage name Young Shoose. After gaining popularity throughout most of West Arlington (Arlington, TX), he changed his stage name to Shoose M.C.G.E.E. and later moved back to East Texas to gain supporters and a following from his hometown (Henderson, TX). In Spring 2011, he released his first mixtape W.O.N.S. (Wrecking on N**gas Sh*T) Vol. 1, showing versatility and laborious wordplay. Shortly after in 2011 he dropped the sequel to W.O.N.S. ( W.O.N.S. Vol. 2 Deep Thoughts) making his progress seem unreal. From the success of W.O.N.S. 1 & 2 he was able to create his own venues, promoting and hosting them him self. In 2012 he released his 3rd mixtape "The Musical Blunt (Burn it, Pass it, Download it)". Another project making the use of other artists instrumentals to show off his lyrical capability. In 2013 he started his on Company IGFO releasing his first project "Nothing A** Ni**a The Mixtape" under the label. In 2014, he launched IGFO Films falling back on his first love by directing his own music videos, short films, and documentaries. Cornelius a.k.a "Shoose McGee" is currently working on 3 musical projects due by the end of the 2014 summer ( The Great Depression, The Musical Blunt Vol. 2, The Stress Reliever: Finding Nirvana which is the prequel to "The Great Depression") all under IGFO.
