One True Heartbeat is the debut album from Detroit Michigan's The Hard Promises. It was recorded over the summer of 2009 at CM sounds recording studio in Canton MI. The record is a honest heart felt release that displays lead singer and song writer Caleb Christner's sometimes rough, sometimes tough, and beautiful songs as well as the bands power. The Hard Promises were formed out of two disbanded Detroit based bands. This is the moving on and going forward record. One true heart beat is an album about friendship, its about love, its about loss, its about growing up and its about living life and having fun. The bands old school punk as well as classic rock and hardcore influences are all herd on this album.
