Lil Dub D.O.B. September 6, 1980 Age: 26 years old Marice Antoine Kennedy (aka) Lil Dub grew up in a little town outside of Chicago, Illinois, called Evanston. His parent’s names are Joyce and Melvin Kennedy Sr.. Lil Dub has two siblings; an older brother, Melvin and younger sister, Shalina. When Lil Dub was about twelve years old, his parents divorced. This forced them to move into a small two bedroom apartment, which was also shared with his mother’s friend and her three children. While sitting on the porch of this small apartment, this is where he started writing. At age seventeen, Lil Dub began to get serious about his writing, performing in shows, and recording in studios. During this time, Lil Dub was able to travel to Montego Bay, Jamaica to perform. In addition, Lil Dub also decided to move to Oakland, California. There, he pursued his dream of becoming a recording artist, and met with superstar bay area rappers such as E-40, B Legit, and 3 Times Krazy. This experience enabled Lil Dub to perform in downtown Oakland. At the age of nineteen, he was able to travel a little to perform in cities such as St. Louis, Missouri and Seattle, Washington. He then decided to move to Southern California where he could continue to grow with his music. It was at this time Lil Dub met with recording artist Gee Ray, one of the owners of Gregory Ray Records, a record label and Aquarian Services Inc., a digital recording studio. With Gee Ray, Lil Dub has recorded songs that he has performed in Las Vegas, and has been able to release one of his recorded remixes to Kanye West. Lil Dub just recently finished his first CD on a deal with Gregory Ray Records (CD named: Steady), which is planned to be released in 2006. Lil Dub’s dream is to continue to write music, to record songs, and to make Lil Dub a household name. ................. A.R. Base\'s Bio This Gospel Minister was a lead singer at the House on the Rock Church, Lagos, which has featured gospel legends like Marvin Winans, T.D Jakes and more. His deep voice often likened to the late Barry White, brings uniqueness to his youthful Hip-Hop and R&B approach to Gospel music. After relocating to the U.S., A. R. Base became a member of the West Angeles Mass Choir, which has produced a lot of talent like Award-winning Kurt Carr, Darryl Coley and others. This twenty-six old, has written over two hundred song, performed to thousands, directed choirs, worked in the studio with many other artists His recorded output includes the 2001 singles \"Hang On\" and his new CD \"You Will Make it\" which has thirteen tracks. A.R. Base also has up to 10 years of voiceover experience doing jingles, commercials for movies, stage plays and more. A.R. Base is also an accomplished songwriter, musician and producer with extensive studio experience. He has the ability to come up with extremely good lines for voiceovers and the music and sound effects that go with them quickly. A. R. Base is currently featured on Geerayrecords.com as a voice-over artist and talk show host. ................ Gee Ray\'s Bio Audio Digital Engineer Musician, Songwriter Producer, Web Master, Entrepreneur and Publisher. Gee Ray has been in the music business for over 20 years. He began his career performing with local bands on the high school and college campuses. Gee Ray also performed in many night clubs in and out of the Los Angeles area. During this time, Gee Ray got the opportunity to tour aboard with a Los Angeles based show group. Gee Ray has toured and performed overseas with various show and dance groups, for over a period of 4 years. Gee Ray has over 14 years of experience in the audio digital recording field, which involves two types of hardware. Computers with wave and midi recording software, and Electronic Keyboards with digital sound processing, better known as DSP. Today, Gee Ray incorporates both the Electronic keyboards and computers, to give him the maximum opportunity in creating the best possible digital sound recording. Over the past 14 years, Gee Ray has written, recorded and produced 3 CDs and has collaborated with many local recording artists such as: Papa Bear, Big D, Lil Dub, A R Base. He has also mastered many songs for various artist in the general area. Gee Ray subscribes to several magazines to stay abreast of current trends, and is a member of ASCAP as both a Writer and Publisher.
