The quartet of Stephanie Francke is featuring four young, prize winning and talented musicians from the Netherlands. The compositions by her have very much their own character with a hang to the melancholic. Some of them are autobiographic expressions and dedications. For instance Stephanie composed 'On y va' longing back to the holidays she had with her family in France when she was a kid. 'For you' was written for her mother, who passed away when she was 15. 'Florigen' was recorded in january 2012 in the Fattoria studios in Osnabrück, Germany.
