简介
Brock Wade was born on September 29, 1992. It wasn’t long before his love of music was obvious. Even as a toddler he loved listening to his favorite songs and by the age of five he was especially fond of Elvis Presley. It was evident that he was going to be an entertainer because he began singing and dancing with a lot of enthusiasm. School was a great setting for Brock to explore his performance skills. In kindergarten he was showing off for his classmates, teachers and any parents who would stop and watch. Brock would also direct home style productions with his cousins, family and friends. He was always in the mood to put on a show. Brock was full of energy, and during his exciting year of being five he also joined every team his parents could find- including baseball, basketball, soccer and football. His athletic abilities led him into wresting and he was eventually a Missouri State Qualifier and had the honor of being named Most Valuable Wrestler on his team. Amidst a packed schedule of musical and sporting activities Brock has always been an excellent student. Straight “A’s” are the norm and Brock's favorite subjects include science, math and, of course, choir. Brock is currently in Honors Choir and seems to always land the lead role in school plays and musicals. Brock has been extremely comfortable on stage since the 3rd grade when he captured the lead role of Leo the Lion in “It’s A Jungle Out There”. That was only the beginning. Long lists of lead roles fill his resume and stage experience in school has led to many larger productions. Along with his triumphs in dramas and musical productions, Brock has been the habitual winner of the school talent shows. From his hip swinging, arm slinging tribute to ELVIS first place ratings to crowd pleasing classic country tunes, Brock always seems to capture the winning votes. He has graduated to being the host and judge for the talent competitions in school, singing a solo or two for entertainment and cheering on the winners! Brock credits his dabbling in Karaoke as his launch pad into pursuing show business. In 2004 he was a big hit at the Karaoke Country Club where he began singing to teen and adult audiences – quite different from entertaining school mates, and die hard family fans. The more mature audience response was phenomenal. Brock was a natural and an instant hit. The owners of the Karaoke business approached Brock and asked him to sing on their stage at area festivals and fairs. It was Brock’s job to sing four or five songs and get the crowd pumped up to try their luck at this growing fad. It worked and the rest is pretty much history. Private lessons with a new coach led to Brock being recruited to sing with the group and participate in a huge show planned for the spring of 2005. Brock experienced a different dimension of performing. All of a sudden he was working with a choreographer, getting measured for costumes, learning lines, and squinting in real spotlights. Brock found his love of the stage growing and helping him to set new goals for his future career plans. The full impact of being featured in this well-attended annual benefit for the Children’s Miracle Network wasn’t made known to Brock and his parents until several days after the performance. Talent scouts who attend the show each year had selected Brock to attend a prestigious “by invitation only” talent showcase on the east coast. Brock traveled to the competition and took several Gold Medals, Showcase Awards and was named the OVERALL Winner in his age category. The hard work and long hours had paid off. His win at this national event placed him in front of many producers, casting directors and record label executives. Brock’s previous preparation for acting, singing, interviewing and modeling seemed like a walk in the park compared to this intense program. Brock Wade and his family tackled the challenges of the entertainment industry on many levels. From photo shoots on the beach to meeting and performing for heavy-hitter representatives of agencies in film, television and recording from LA to New York, Brock is on his way. During 2006 Brock made time to do more than 100 personal appearances with his performance group SING! SING! SING! and as a soloist is always in demand. Brock is a well-known fundraiser for the CHILDREN’S MIRACLE NETWORK. A host of benefit performances dot his busy schedule and he is focused on meeting the needs of the children served by the local programs of CMN in the Ozark Mountain Country Area. Brock starred as Danny in a 2006 production of GREASE which toured all year.! He is also cast as CURLY in OKLAHOMA, TOM SAWYER in BIG RIVER, and is one of the JERSERY BOYS in the 100 YEARS OF BROADWAY productions for the 2007 season. Brock’s experience has also gained him invitations to speak to groups of students at CAREER DAY events and encouraging them to go after their dreams. Brock loves to perform and is ready with a repertoire including many different music genres that spotlight his versatility. His energy and dedication to his craft is surpassed only by his endless desire to succeed. He's a COUNTRY BOY and recognizes that music genre as his focus. His new album reveals his vocal prowess in a whole new light for all to enjoy. With lots of concerts on his 2007 schedule, the introduction of his own “CLEAR CREEK” record label, premier release of his first full self titled CD project featuring Brock’s all new country sound – the future looks very exciting for this newcomer in the growing popularity of the Country Music scene. He is building an impressive fan base which is the key to becoming a successful recording artist. WELCOME TO BROCK COUNTRY! You're gonna like it here!
