Goldrush formed in Richmond, VA in 2009 and has been tracking songs, blending genres, and poking fun at the absurdity of life ever since then. There's people that still believe the Earth is flat and they interact with other people that have relatives that own businesses. It's a weird world man, someone's got to sit back and poke fun every now and then. The songs are crafted in the school of Brian Wilson and John Lennon, but usher in subtle hints of an era of music that started it all, the classics. Pop music, hook laden guitar rock, catchy lyrics, and weird topics all melded together with the nerdery of thousands of years of history, science, and music put into a blender. Words are fun and all, but listening to the music is the point, right? Give it a listen, you may like it, you may not, but take it for a spin and make up your own mind.
