Gambino Akuboy is one of these talents you can not put a finger on. As a child he started his career as an actor and won several awards during his youth back in Gambia. To everyone's surprise he joined the army during his first years of multimedia studies in London. Since 2013 Gambino Akuboy is Gambia's first Afrobeats artist and in 2014 he signed up to ATL crew from Ghana. In the beginning of 2016 he released the smashing song “Dancefloor”, which is a collaboration with one of Gambia's best rappers ST and got premiered on MTV alongside other big music channels worldwide. Just recently “Dancefloor” won the Best Video at the Gambian Music Video Awards. In december 2016 he released “Wish You Well” with an amazing video shot in Kenya.
