Big Bill is a multi-instrumentalist, producer, and rapper hailing from Bloomington, Indiana. Toast is his second full-length album and the first to feature live instrumentation. To complement his signature sample-based beats, Big Bill added live trumpets and trombones on over half the tracks, working closely with composer and arranger Richard Tuomi. Much like the many shades of toast featured on the album cover, Big Bill explores a wide variety of song topics over the course of the album, rapping about everything from anti-depressants to awkward Tinder meet-ups to his love of feet. Toast is a no-holds-barred portrait of Big Bill, flaws and all, told through colorful beats and rhymes.
