简介

Introducing 18 Wheels of Justice, a crushing thrash metal band from the hotbed scene of Boston, Massachusetts. 18 Wheels Of Justice is a 5 piece metal band, influenced by old school thrash metal and serious hardcore. Their music is fast and vicious, with brutal hardcore breakdowns, time changes, and melody all in one package. Founding members Todd Harris (guitar) and Conor Anastasia (bass) started 18 Wheels of Justice as a side project in early 2002. Realizing the huge potential of their music, the project quickly became their primary focus. The band was in a state of flux from '02 to '04, as the search for the perfect lineup continued. The additions of vocalist Steve Justice, guitarist Steve Abajoli, and drummer Sam Pothier completed the punishing sound. The group has played extensively throughout the New England region, developing a strong following. In early '05, they recorded a self-titled EP at The Armory Studios (owned by Harris), which got airplay on several local radio stations (107.3WAAF, 104.1 WBCN). The sound was described as "powerful and elemental" (The Noise), and greatly increased the band's exposure. Throughout '06, the band maintained a rigorous schedule, both on stage and in the studio. The resulting debut album, 'Deceive Them All', captures the fierce, determined sound that is 18 Wheels of Justice. The album was recorded, mixed, and produced entirely by the band, and is being released and distributed by the independent label Elephantine Records. Several song's from "DECEIVE THEM ALL" have also received airplay on numerous New England radio stations,(107.3 WAAF, 104.1 WBCN, 88.9 WERS, and many more college and internet radio stations) A QUICK REVIEW OF "DECEIVE THEM ALL"....... "Deceive Them All" 1. Daddy Drinks Cause You Cry 2. War Cry 3. Its Wes Mantooth Bitches 4. Mechanically Separated 5. 18 Wheels 6. The Trooper 7. Piss On Lars 8. I'm Gonna Beat You 9. Pounder [Live] 18 Wheels Of Justice RATING 9.3 out of 10 "Deceive The All" is one tasty metal sandwich. If thrash tickles your taste buds then you have to pick up this. Now...I have been listening to a bunch of local metal over the past months... You got the hardcore...You got the death metal...You got the rock...But only with 18 Wheels Of Justice do you have thrash metal. The riffs and breakdowns of their songs are intense. The coarse vocals add to their devastating sound along with the immense drumming skills. And kudos for the cover of Survivor's 'Eye Of The Tiger' during the breakdown of '18 Wheels'. Definitely my favorite song off the album. Nicely done fellas. Review by: Darcy www.nefariousrelam.com www.myspace.com/18wheelsofjustice www.18wheelsband.com www.elephantinerecords.com
