简介
Slower Structures is the second solo album of Tamás Kátai, who is the musician behind Thy Catafalque, a well-respected avant-garde metal project. Eleven years after his first solo album, Erika Szobája, Slower Structures takes another step into neoclassical and chamber music. The album is based on the sound of piano with occasional violin, contrabass, electronics and processed human voice interactions. Hence the subtitle: Thirteen Compositions for Piano, Violin, Contrabass and Electronics. The music depicts a day in the city of Edinburgh, Scotland, the place as an inspiration. These are small pictures, atmosphere of moments, moods, the rain in the morning, the tea in the museum, the light storm during lunchtime in the park, the afternoon thermal pool or the late evening gallery. A day in a dignified city.
