Immediately after finishing Goblin Island, we set out to create our next masterpiece - STENCH. Our initial idea was to record it the same way as Goblin Island, but later, we opted for a more professional recording process since we now had a full band. However, we still had our "pre-production" versions of most of the songs you hear on STENCH. These are only marginally edited, mixed, and recorded - sometimes with just scratch vocal tracks or no keyboards, since halfway through the process we decided on a different approach and never finished them. Drums and bass on these songs are sequenced by Tim, and most of the guitars are recorded by Tim as well. Keys, electronica, and vocals are handled mostly by Nicky. The new members used these recordings to learn new material and figure out the vibe of our new record. released 19 July 1911
