With a twenty-five year career , and unique programming, mixing classical, South American, popular, and original compositions, Michael Lucarelli is considered one of today’s leading guitarist.

Michael Lucarelli was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. He began in music education on the electric guitar in 1973. Later Michael discovered the classical guitar and began his studies with Peruvian guitarist Ricardo Linares. Mr. Lucarelli went on to receive his “Bachelor of Music” degree in 1989 from the University of Utah and his “Master of Music” in 1992 from the University of Arizona in guitar performance. He has performed throughout Utah and the U.S. for over Twenty-five years. He has received numerous awards and grants including prize winner in the “Norman Sholin” guitar competition, and most recently “Best Sound of Music” from the Salt Lake City Magazine “Best of the Beehive”. During the 2002 Winter Olympics, Michael had the honor of performing for the Athletes at the Olympic Village. He has appeared on several radio and television programs including the TV series “Touched by an Angel”. Michael is also a “Youtube phenomenon” receiving over 13 Million views.
