Isobel Ann Martin hails from the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland.

She started singing at a young age and went on to win the Traditional Gold Medal at ‘The National Mod’ in 2005, at the tender age of 18. Since then she he had been keeping a relatively low profile with only occasional musical outings on various CD's and a few television appearances.

However, the spotlight is now firmly on her alone, with the release of her stunning new debut album, Duslach is `Or (Dust & Gold) produced by Calum Martin.  This album shows off her distinct and versatile vocals on both traditional, contemporary and self penned gaelic songs.  Accompaniment has been provided by great musicians from both Nashville and Scotland.
