Chris met Brian at the Humdinger House in Bellingham, where Brian made fun of Chris's hat. Chris later met James Reisen, through Brian and their band, Language Arts. James R. drove a red truck. Jess met Chris at school, through Anthony, who is not a member of this band. Some time later, Chris, James R., Jess, and Brian met James (Pillbox) Hall at a picnic at Rooster Rock on the fourth of July. The band is currently playing shows in Portland.
