As a boy, Delta Triplett would sit for hours at a time watching his father rehearse and practice on his drums with his group "The Seven Sounds". He knew that one day he wanted to be in the music/entertainment industry and was excited about what lied ahead for him. As he got older his grandmother would often tell him stories about how she would put a tape recorder on the floor and play the recording of his father playing drums because that was how she got him to go to sleep. Delta Triplett has grown to be a man that has had some life experiences many of us can only dream about or image. He has traveled the world and sailed the seas while in the US Navy, were he was a sonar technician on submarines. He has played Division 1 collegiate football with the Badgers at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is an elected official as a Milwaukee County Commissioner of SDC and represents over 124,000 people in his district. But most of all he is a loving and caring father! Delta's music and song writing skills came from him spending time homing his craft while practicing for hours in his basement while as a child, performing with school bands, singing and directing church choirs, and writing poetry to gather his thoughts. He has developed many local artists in Milwaukee and some that even made it to BET and he has managed the career of one of the Christian Comedy's top performs; Small Fire! Now he has finally taken all that he has done and is investing it in his own career in the music/entertainment industry. Asked by his father to put out a music project to allow others to know what musical gifts he had, he has release his debut single entitled "Step With Me" on his forth coming album "This Is Me" on the D'BOSA Music Group Label. The project has an anticipated release date in the first or second quarter of the year. Delta is excited about the project and is looking forward to sharing his gift, passion, and love of music with others who want to get to know him and share in the fulfillment of his lifelong dream!
