Ali Cashius Jr, is a Puerto Rican/Yemeni Bilingual Hip Hop Artist from Detroit, MI. Born and raised on the Southwest Side of Detroit, Ali was exposed to everything under the sun; from drugs and prostitution, to gang banging and murder, he was exposed to it all at such a young age. Ali was captivated by artist like 2Pac, Nas, and Black Star, because of their ability to articulate their message and emotions. Ali was determined to tell his story, but he knew that he had to first master his craft, before showing the world what was really in his school note books. Hard times, death, and financial hardship, would contribute to Ali moving all over the US looking for jobs and recording studios. Since arriving in Phoenix, Ali has established Block Poetry Ent, realeased his debut album, A Message 4 Tha People, and the new mixtape series, Tales of The Poor Rican Vol. 1. Ali has been busy recording new music, opening up for major acts like Method Man and Redman, featuring on Phoenix's Power 98.3 Street Heat, and Reach Around Radio of LATALKLIVE.com
