Alida is an American singer/songwriter and worship leader currently serving alongside her husband, Tom, as a missionary working to end the Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children in Belize. She has enjoyed performing in diverse places such as the U.S., Russia, and India. Although Alida has been singing for many years she made her debut as a singer/songwriter at the Belize Gospel Expo in 2014. She was also featured as one of the opening acts for Nicole C. Mullen's first concert in Belize in the same year. Alida's musical style ranges from R&B to Gospel Blues to Contemporary Christian. Her desire is for her songs to encourage, comfort, and inspire others.
