This high-energy recording is perhaps the world's first album recorded exclusively with an Electronic Valved Instrument (EVI). Other than drum programming, all "instruments" are played using an EVI and close to 100 separate tracks. The EVI was invented by Nyle Steiner and is played similar to a trumpet, but with the ability to sound like any instrument in the orchestra or band.
