Boyles is a multi-faceted artist - he began his musical career singing in church choir. He played drums in high school, and then went on to study music at Western Carolina University, majoring in jazz bass performance with a minor in jazz guitar. "Bedroom Demos", which was written, performed, and recorded entirely by David in his bedroom on his 2-track 'm-box', takes it's listeners on a never-ending journey through thought-provoking themes and genre-breaking sounds. Recent placements of David's music include: "Good Thing" on NBC's Scrubs. In March "Saturday", "Right Back", and "Good Thing" were each featured on Garageband.com's Track of the Week.
