Working closely with producer/engineer Shawn Leahy of M Sound in Philadelphia, Hale Allen has written 12 new songs in the art rock genre, Deep introspective lyrics are fueled by backing harmonies and soaring choruses with the help along the way by Brad Cianciola's thick guitar leads, and Mike 'Slo-Mo' Brenner's beautiful, soulful lap steel guitar. Shawn fills in piano and organ while Dan Bacon and Kevin Hill lay down some of the slickest bass and drum parts. "No Easy Grace" is about musical dynamics, lyrical depth and the classic musicianship that we all crave.
