John-Victor is a British composer writing innovative, contemporary scores for new musicals. This album features songs from four of his musicals: "Chick" collaborating with Paul Roberts and Perfect Pitch "Barry the Penguin - A Black & White Christmas" collaborating with Lesley Ross and Perfect Pitch "War and Fleece" collaborating with Lesley Ross "Carla Cthulhu" collaborating with Paul Roberts John-Victor is a UK born songwriter, classically trained since the age of six. He continued his music studies at Knighton Heath Music College where he gained a BTEC qualification in music practice. His musical career started as a pianist and vocalist at cabaret restaurant ‘113’ in Bournemouth. It was during this time he met drag artist Carmen Von Dita and formed pop duo ‘Hollywood Crash’. Together they produced, recorded and released an album of their own original material. They went on to enter and win national talent competition ‘Search for a Star’ where they also gained the Water Rats sponsored ‘Best Speciality Act’ award. They continued to perform at numerous clubs, casinos, theatres and gay pride events up and down the UK. John-Victor went on to co-write the song ‘I Feel Like Screaming’ with Danish dance act ‘Infernal’ which featured on their internationally released, doubled platinum selling album, ‘Electric Cabaret’. The musical is currently being developed by Perfect Pitch. Music from the show has been featured in the concert ‘The Great British Musical’, which has been performed in the West End, hosted by Stephen Fry. John-Victor was a finalist for the Perfect Pitch Award 13/14 where he was partnered with writer Paul Roberts. Together they began writing ‘Carla Cthulhu’ an H.P. Lovecraft inspired musical. Perfect Pitch are a theatre company dedicated to developing new contemporary British musicals and have teamed up with John-Victor to produce Shoot...Bang! his debut album.
