This collection honours R-W’s history and features several Canadian compositions written for the R-W musicians. Enjoy the celebration! The CD will be launched and on sale after worship on Sunday, October 18 – the Robertson 100th anniversary celebration service. Robertson-Wesley United Church musicians will launch a new CD in celebration of the Robertson and Wesley 100th anniversaries called “Song Forever New”. The Choir of R-W, R-W Ringers and Tammy-Jo Mortensen have recorded a CD of some of our favourite music. The pieces have been chosen because they are meaningful to us and to the history of both Robertson and Wesley congregations. Many of the tracks are by composers who are former music directors or former choristers and much of the music has been written specifically or commissioned for the music groups here. see: www.rwuc.org
