All the Little Pieces has been together for over 2 years now, formed by lead singer/songwriter Rhyan Sprague. In the past few years, they have played more than 50 shows, made radio and television appearances ,entertaining audiences with their unique, eclectic brand of blues and roots country tinged alternative rock. Their new album, Broken Little Soul, hits many of the same notes as their debut album, If You Fall, but continues their growth as musicians. With Thomas Suggs on lead guitar, Billy P. Thomas on bass, Chris Jones on percussion and Rhyan on keyboards, guitar and occasionally a kazoo, they work together much like a musical family. Each song on the new album has a sort of companion piece on If You Fall, but at the same time, the sound is inherently new and electric. If you enjoyed Cuts and Bruises, you'll love Papers to Burn. Fans of the popular Can't Pin Me Down will not be able to stop listening to warm melon. Elements of their influences are evident, from Jack White, Norah Jones, Pokey LaFarge, Peggy Lee, Johnny Cash, Chris Isaak, Dolly Parton, Beck and Maria McKee. Maria McKee herself enjoyed their cover of Soap, Soup and Salvation on their debut album and we can't wait for Dolly Parton to hear their rocked out arrangement of Jolene. One definite high note of this album, no pun intended, is the 22 second note held by Rhyan on 51 Days Ago... The lyrics on this cd are personal and intimate, but abstract and poetic at the same time.
