Jinday Ni Jinday is a versatile album of a versatile artist. The music of this album is quite different than Kamal Heer's other albums. Jinday Ni Jinday may establish a new mile stone in Punjabi Bhangra music 'sound'. The composer Sangtar has already proved it many times before that his whims can start trends.

This album has five dance songs, Pendu Jatt, Mul Morta, Ik Boli, Haal Puchh Lai and Nashedi Dil, two ballads Jinday ni Jinday and Chete Kareen and one live recording with world famous Tabla virtuoso Ustad Tari Khan. This is the first time when any classical tabla player has ever played this famous 7/4 Punjabi folk beat called dhaia. The division of this taal is interesting, 4 beats in first 3 and last 4 divided into two sections. As always Ustad tari Khan took his liberties to add color to the flow of this taal and made it much more beautiful.
