God is creating a burden among his people to work and worship together, removing every wall that divides his people along lines of denomination and tradition. He is calling creatives, leaders, songwriters and worshipers to raise their eyes to a vision of unity where congregations work together to edify the saved and reach the lost. The obstacles we face in our world torn by politics, culture wars and each one “doing right in their own eyes” are too large for the people of God to work in isolation. United Worship is a ground breaking project joining unprecedented cooperation, creativity and the community of worship leaders and songwriters. It stands as a testimony to what the people of faith can accomplish when they set aside their personal agendas to follow the transcendent call of the Kingdom of God. The churches involved are from the Marion area (only because we needed a place to start) but not limited to just this part of the world. The digital download purchases will be given 100% toward a Non-Profit that is up and coming. The Irene Way will help single parents that work multiple jobs or go to school that have a hard time making ends meet & need help. The founder of this Non-Profit is Dan Gregory who has lived these struggles as a boy seeing his widowed mother work many jobs to just get by. The music on this project is all original from area christian songwriters, worship leaders, and people of christ as well as all the musicians that played on the recordings. As for the discs that are distributed by churches involved in the annual project or ones that chose to back the project will use the money made to furthering there own ministries with in there community and church bodies. The shows that are played by the group each year & money made will go to fund the mission of the project and allow it to continue and grow each year. There are about 15+ churches backing the project not all from the Marion area and 5 that where involved in the recording.
