Culture Trap are an acoustic, dark alt-folk, rock duo from central Kentucky. With an eclectic sound, caught somewhere between classic folk rock, 90's alternative, and that of modern singer/songwriter's, Culture Trap rely on all of their influences to create their unique brand of back alley Americana. Culture Trap is lead vocalist and lyricist, Benjamin Silas Foster, and guitarist, lyricist, vocalist, and songwriter, Johnny Copas, but they are often times joined onstage and in the studio by a full band or other artists and musicians.

Culture Trap's forthcoming three track freshman E.P. 'Hero's Dose,' from AboveTheSun Records, will examine the dark folk duo's knack for storytelling, poetic nuance, and hypnotically melodic acoustic accompaniment. 'City Don't Sleep,' the first single from Hero's Dose, will be releasing everywhere on June 16th, 2017, and will be followed by two more tracks in summer '17. Plans for a 2017 summer/fall tour are currently in the works.
