"I can't stop playing it", "There isn't a song I want to skip", "The production is super tight, it's so different from what's out right now", "Where can I cop this album?" This is just a few responces from hip hop listeners nation wide ranging from east to west coast and down south who have listened to GEMINI, hip hop's long awaited album. I.N.T.'s lyrical craft will take you through a journey of unspoken truth. It's not just about where the music takes you, but where I.N.T.'s wordplay guides you. This is MUSIC FOR THE MIND. Jose Bada, also known as I.N.T., was born and raised in Harlem, NYC. His love for music started from the age of two, when the rhythm and melody of latin jazz intrigued him. He was on his way to a passion that some of us, at times, are scared to pursue. His parents saw this, and at the age of five enrolled him into classical piano lessons at the Harlem School of the Arts (HSA). Soon after his first year, the school offered him a scholarship to play cello. His cello instructor, David Darling, never saw such skill and passion in any of his students. By the age of fifteen, I.N.T. had played over forty five piano recitals and more than thirty orchestra shows playing first, sometimes second cello. Stage fright was never a concern. I.N.T. loved the spotlight. Around '91, he realized what direction his life was heading after recieving his first pair of Technique 1200's. He first started making mix tapes and throwing several high school and house parties throughout the city. After years of scatching, mixing, and beat juggling, he began to produce tracks for local M.C.'s and soon for himself. Always a poet at heart, and with the musical background that is now INTLX Productions, his talent will surely be recognized. Not only does he leave beat hungry masses satisfied but he also touches on subjects that everyday M.C.'s circumvent. I.N.T.; a producer, writer, DJ, and performer. His skills and talents reach across the board and touch every facet of the hip hop culture. Jose Bada and Laleyna Gomez combined their production talents to create the INTLX Production Team. In 1997 they began working together during their enrollment at the Institue of Audio Research; a school focusing on production and engineering. Both members bring quite a bit of uniqueness into their production. Jose is a classically trained musician as well as a "hip hop junkie". Laleyna, on ther other hand, evolved into trip hop and house from a hip hop background. When the two linked ideas together, they formed a sound unique to the hip hop world. The INTLX have worked with a variety of artists ranging from one genre to another. A collaboration of styles and beliefs signifies the true essence of unity behind their tracks. Their sound, while undeniably hip hop, is strongly universal. The beats reflect the ever evolving world of the hiphop culture. Created with the intent of reaching mass audiences, the tracks are meant to grab everyone from the underground to commercial heads. "We continue to contribute our music to the hiphop culture as we put our souls into what we love to do." - Jose Bada Recently, the INTLX just completed I.N.T.'s long awaited solo project. The album, "Gemini", which displays versatility and respect for different styles while staying true to their roots in NYC. "This album is dedicated to all of the people who have supported us since day one. Thanks for the love as we continue to pay dues, we grow and learn new things, but our goal remains. Keep hip hop alive." - Amoré
