There are Bruce Hornsby-inflected piano breakdowns, exploding guitar amplifiers, mondo beats. At one point a drummer appears to trip over the kit in the middle of a song. Endless eons in the making, but well worth any wait. A shimmering, stunning, sometimes stupefying aural experience.
