Sammy Tenuta is a singer-songwriter, musician that has established himself to be a well respected and talented performer in the city and surrounding towns of Chicago, Illinois. His well written and catchy songs, whether it be the bright or (dark side) which he mainly prefers; capture the realm of reality. Sammy has his own unique style of talent, while performing and embellishing his solo act with a great sense of humor, drawing in crowds. Sammy has headlined some of the biggest indoor/outdoor venues in the city of Chicago, such as Metro, Double Door, Martyr’s, Navy Pier, Taste of Chicago, etc... He also has appeared in top local music magazines such as Showcase, Illinois Entertainer, and local radio stations (including live performances). Sammy's music and lyric's have been addressed as being; a great listening experience, well crafted songs, soothing voice, and a singer-songwriter with reality in his backbone. Sammy’s musical background is stemmed from 50’s, 60’s and 70’s rock, but he enjoys all styles including bubble gum rock.
