Christoffer Berg presents: MY SONIC MOUNTAIN 001 As the first release on MY SONIC MOUNTAIN we are very proud to present the debut 12" release of Tora Vinter (aka Anna Frost) called Don't Turn Around / Sophies Nightmare. Both tracks were made in flashes of inspiration, and has since then been finetuned to a desireable balance between roughness and perfection by the artist, then mixed by Christoffer Berg and cut to vinyl by Simon @ the Exchange Mastering Studios. The story of how these tracks started to spread is quite unusual. The first one to realise the potential of Sophies Nightmare was actually Christoffers brother Alex aka Cloud (Exceptional rec / Tennishero, DNM, etc). Sophies Nightmare was fresh out of the studio when he resolutely put a CDr in the hands of Moodyman when he visisted The Eye @ Nefertiti in Gothenburg. He played the track there and then and so it happened that a local artist was championed in her own hometown by the detroit legend himself. Later, Tora Vinters production earned her a spot at the RBMA in Melbourne, she has djed both locally and as far away as Moscow, Russia. Now it’s time for everyone to discover the amazing dancefloor seduction qualities of these two tracks! Enjoy!
