Marquis is an artist that combines good lyrics with a variety of different sounds. He uses the unique style of speeding his raps up then slowing them down while remaining on the topic. His passion for rap started in high school first being called a "Battle Rapper" because of his hunger to battle anyone he came into contact with. He also was well known because of his talent to play multiple instruments which later helped him produce some of his own songs.
