This 5th album from David Wakeling is a departure from his previous works. A throwback collection of classic singer-songwriter tunes, this is a collection of cover tunes from the artists who have influenced him. They are simple clear arrangements without flash. No auto tune, no tricks. David recorded this in his home performing all instruments and vocals. The artists to which Wakeling is paying tribute are well know, but the songs are deeper cuts that haven't been played to death. A great collection for a lazy Sunday afternoon.
