简介
Countless Skies (previously Hatespire) came to be in the summer of 2009 in a small flat in England. Two long-time friends Ross King and James Pratt worked together to create a three track demo that blended progressive and darkly intense music influenced by their Scandinavian melodeth heroes. After working fervently to finalise the tracks on their debut release they turned to their good friend Phil Romeo, who helped them to mix the tracks and later became the bassist of the band. The raw offering they would produce captures a band full of creativity and potential, from the chiming harmonies of 'Burden' to the subtle and haunting 'Tranquillity.' After finalising the demo they found the last piece of the puzzle in Nathan Robshaw – a technically excellent drummer with an intrinsic precision and flair. This allowed them to bring their music to the stage, but after four gigs complications caused the band to temporarily lose their momentum. Now, after a four year slumber the band has stirred once more to work on a four track EP, taking their previous sound and blending it with new influences whilst keeping the same dark twist. With such a strong line-up, the future is looking bright for Countless Skies. www.facebook.com/countlessskies www.countlessskies.com Countless Skies is: Ross King – Vocals and Guitars James Pratt – Guitars Phil Romeo – Vocals and Bass Nathan Robshaw - Drums All music and lyrics by Countless Skies.
