专辑简介

Quiet, reflective piano music in the style of George Winston and Philip Aaberg. This was my first piano album and the titles were a lot more generic initially. (Except for Mike’s Theme and Dad’s Theme.) Using simple titles like “One” and “Two” does not work well with websites for distribution, so I renamed them all later! My hope was that you could simply listen to the music and let it take you wherever it might without being influenced by whatever I called them.

There were a few edits in the studio, but not many. I simply sat down and played whatever came to mind at the time. A few of the tracks came from ideas I had, but the rest were composed when the record button was pressed. Mike’s Theme was a piece written by one of my students, and Dad’s Theme is a song my father wrote and played years ago.
