Just listen to Mandie Pinto sing and you can hear firsthand her love for music and her foremost desire to communicate the hope found only in Jesus Christ. Mandie considers her musical talents a true gift from God, and uses those gifts to serve Him. Her passion is developing leaders, encouraging gifted musicians and being a light wherever the Lord plants her. Mandie was born and raised in Southern California, where she attended private Christian schools and discovered at an early age the joy of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. At the age of eight, she began taking piano lessons and subsequently ventured into voice training. At the youthful age of 14, Mandie felt the call to minister through music, and set out to sing at churches throughout the San Fernando Valley. And now at the age of 28, Mandie's music ministry takes her to churches and other venues all over the United States. In 2005, Mandie had the distinct pleasure and honor of both co-writing and recording with friend, Blake Ewing the ending credit song, “Along the River” for the major motion picture, “End of the Spear” distributed by 20th Century Fox. This film was released nation-wide and portrayed the touching story of missionaries, Jim Elliot and Nate Saint. Mandie is currently the Worship Team Leader at Real Life Church in Santa Clarita, CA. She has been blessed to work at Real Life Church since the day its doors opened on October 1st, 2000. Her job consists of organizing a community of musicians and singers (around 30 participants), transcribing charts, creating charts, music selection, team leading, playing keyboards, and vocal/song arranging. In addition to performing at numerous church events, secular venues and coffeehouses around Santa Clarita, Mandie enjoys performing at various conferences, retreats and seminars. Sharing her love for music at every opportunity, she has over 20 Private Voice Students and enjoys watching them rise into the next generation of leaders and musicians. In addition Mandie is an accomplished songwriter, with several of her songs winning notable awards in the Billboard Song Contest and the John Lennon Songwriting Contest. Mandie has recorded 4 solo albums in the last 12 years. These albums are titled, “Angel Eyes”, “Someday”, “Count All Your Blessings” and “Better Things.” Her newest release is a 5th solo album entitled, “Where You Are”. In 1997-2003 Mandie was popular guest at Dr. Robert Schuller's Crystal Cathedral in Garden Grove. Mandie appears frequently on the Hour of Power which is broadcast to over 20 million viewers worldwide. From 1996-2000, she was a principal soloist in the Glory of Christmas at the Crystal Cathedral, singing “Mary, Did You Know?” and in 1999, she was a principal soloist in the Glory of Easter at the Crystal Cathedral, playing the role of Mary Magdalene. Mandie has also played the role of Mary Magdalene in The Passion Play at Shepherd of the Hills Church in Porter Ranch, CA, and has appeared in the Christmas productions at Shepherd of the Hills and the Dream Center in Los Angeles. She was the worship assistant at Shepherd of the Hills Church Sunday Night Services from 1999-2004. Mandie is repeatedly invited to sing the National Anthem and/or Canadian Anthem at major sporting venues, including the Staples Center (Los Angeles Kings and Los Angeles Lakers), Anaheim Stadium (Anaheim Angels), Arrowhead Pond (Mighty Ducks), and Dodger Stadium (Los Angeles Dodgers), the World’s Women’s Tennis Event, the US Olympic Swim Trials in Long Beach, CA and the US Olympic Men’s Gymnastic Finals. Mandie has recorded for Nintendo, NAMCO, Toyota, Disney and the theme song to “Miss Spider” on Nickelodeon, in addition to many children albums. Through her e-mail newsletter, Mandie is able to share not only the issues on her heart, but also scripture, encouragement, prayer requests, praises and congratulations, special events and the ministries of others. In addition to all of the above, Mandie is an enthusiastic Artist Associate for World Vision! Mandie resides in southern California with her husband, Jeremy to whom she is happily married for two years.
