简介
I couldn't possibly sum up here the magical mysterious journey that swept me away for four months during the recording of this album. I'm a singer/songwriter and have never composed this kind of music. Each day was an expedition into uncharted territory as the melodies and ideas revealed themselves. I was merely a participant as the Universe supplied the creative and artistic recordings you'll hear over seven extended tracks totaling 73 minutes. Experience the waking desert and its inhabitants on "Sonoran Dawn." Plunge into the ocean's depths on "Journey To Atlantis." Be transported into outer space by a funky computerized interstellar jazz band on "Cosmic Jazz." And end your day with a relaxing guided meditation vocal track titled "Sanctuary." There's much more, of course, and hopefully a little something for everyone. These extended tracks are ideal for artists, writers, yoga and massage practitioners and the like, or anyone needing to get lost in a daydream. Here are some completely unsolicited comments I've received from the initial physical CD release: "DUDE! Fantastic! I enjoyed every single track on this and will be adding this to my mp3 player I use at night." "I love mine. Great music!" "Albion Sound mastered new age artist Bruce Vaught's new album 'ZEN - Music For Daydreamers.' Bruce, wonderful to work with you and fantastic job on the album!" - Kevin Tye, Mastering Engineer "Just starting my day out with Bruce Vaught and his talented, calming and peaceful music from 'ZEN: Music For Daydreamers.' Do yourself a favor and download the digital copy. I think you will find peace and calmness with his music." "It's crazy how much love I can feel while listening to your music! It's spiritual and great for meditation. You can be very proud of yourself." "I love it!!!! Its sooo relaxing!!!" "It really takes you away...to higher places..." "I have been listening to mine in my office every day. I really enjoy it and it helps bring a peaceful feeling to a hectic place. Thank you for making it." "Amazing! The right mood setter." "Listening to "Songbird Under Flamenco Moon"...sooooo beautiful and I am in tears here..." "It's sooooooo beautiful!!!❤ Thank u for creating such mindblowing music!!!" "Bruce! Your album came out great! Great job and I cannot thank you enough for including me in this beautiful project!" - Scott K. Haskin, Producer "We received it in the mail yesterday, listened last night and loved it! Thanks, Bruce, you are amazing!" "Very relaxing and beautifully made. So many different sounds. Loved it. Congrats, my friend. Well done." "Guess what my husband is doing right now? He is listening to your CD and loves it. I can hear it downstairs, you are amazing! It will be perfect especially this summer when we hibernate - now I can bring the outdoors indoors. Thank you!" "ZEN is amazing...thanks for my talented creative friend, Bruce Vaught!" "This is pretty flippin awesome! To watch my friend's journey from conception to completion and everything in between! Congrats to you Bruce Vaught on the release of your first album!! Hoooooray!!" "WOW love it - so very creative. You are a genius." Well, I don't consider myself anywhere near a genius, but that and the other comments were honest responses and totally unsolicited by me. The creative genius is the Universe, my muse and source of all inspiration and ideas. I'm delighted and humbled to have received such warm and loving comments. I pray that you'll enjoy this eclectic mix of meditative music which was painstakingly** and lovingly composed and recorded to my highest level of perfection. My ideal was to release an elegant and richly crafted recording to carry listeners off to another place. My gift to you is this album for daydreamers and I hope you enjoy it. Bruce All songs composed, arranged & recorded by Bruce Vaught Mixed by Bruce Vaught at Heartbeat Studio, Arizona Mastered by Kevin Tye, Albion Sound Recording Studio, Arizona Produced by Bruce Vaught and Scott K. Haskin * All the nature sounds were captured by me in their natural environment in my home state of Arizona, and in Canada during a 9300 mile motorcycle trip. There was no sampling of any wildlife, waterfall, rain or thunderstorm sounds for this album. ** The jungle drum you'll hear on "Neptune's Lament" is my actual heartbeat, which was captured by driving a sensitive acoustic guitar microphone deep into my chest for extended periods. I still have the scars to prove it.
