I couldn't possibly sum up here the magical mysterious journey that swept me away for four months during the recording of this album. I'm a singer/songwriter and have never composed this kind of music. Each day was an expedition into uncharted territory as the melodies and ideas revealed themselves. I was merely a participant as the Universe supplied the creative and artistic recordings you'll hear over seven extended tracks totaling 73 minutes. There was no sampling of any wildlife, waterfall, rain or thunderstorm sounds for this album. ** The jungle drum you'll hear on "Neptune's Lament" is my actual heartbeat, which was captured by driving a sensitive acoustic guitar microphone deep into my chest for extended periods. I still have the scars to prove it.
