People often ask me, "What motivates you to sing?"...My response has always been "Life". Obstacles that I have encountered as well as victories motivate me to sing and to share my story. For me, when I look out into an audience and see that a persons life has been touched by the words I am singing, it does wonders for me. Seeing God at work in me doing His will motivates me to continue to reach, share and empty myself on that stage. I have always loved music from an early age. Most of all I love and I truly believe in the message behind my music. Music is a way for me to share what God has done, and currently doing in my life. One of my favorite tracks on this EP is entitled, I Seek You Now. This song is so very special to me because it conveys an important message of how often times we think that we have life all figured out, when actually we don't. That's when we step into the light of God's grace and suddenly or dependency upon Christ becomes so evident and so clear. When people listen to this EP, I want them to grasp the true meaning of what it means to be in Christ and what it means to behold Him. It took me many years to learn this and I'm just so excited to share and inspire all who will listen. God is ever moving and wants us to grow in Him. I want people to know that on earth people will stop cheering as soon as you fall, but not God. He never forgets you, and just by believing on His Son Jesus, your name is forever written on His heart. That's a gift I wouldn't trade for the world.
