简介
Rapper, songwriter, and entrepreneur Antoine M. Kimbrough was born on February 23, 1989, in Chicago Illinois. One of today’s best up and coming superstars, Twon “Young CEO” fell in love with music at a very young age. He grew up on the Southside of Chicago and moved to Homewood, Illinois at the age of 12. Being a huge fan of Michael Jackson and MC Hammer, he would often practice singing and doing dance moves to some of their popular songs. As he grew older, his love for music faded. Instead, his love for football grew. His dad wasn’t in his life and he saw his mom struggling, so he decided to get a job with the help of his stepdad. This helped him to avoid getting into any trouble and helped him become more responsible. Realizing that he couldn’t work and play sports full time, he decided to work instead. It wasn’t until the age of 17 “Young CEO” fell in love with hip hop. With Lil Wayne, Jay Z, Outkast, and T. I. being some of his favorite rappers, he began to write rhymes and practice on some of his techniques. “Young CEO” and his friends would often play around with the idea of starting a rap group, but it was never really serious. Things started getting bad for him as him and his mom started to clash heads. He started to feel the emptiness that had always been there from not having his biological dad around, so he decided to move to Fort Wayne, IN with his best friend Adrian Range in hopes of starting new. Being in Fort Wayne for only a couple of weeks, he soon met Mario White, known as Rio. These three would soon develop an independent record label, Streets Love That Entertainment, with Twon” Young CEO” being in charge. While doing open mics and shows, he saw the crowd’s reaction to his music and decided to become more serious and put together a mix tape. His first mix tape was I-90 to I-69, which is available on www.datpiff.com, www.sltent.net and www.twonyoungceo.com. The mix tape was a compilation disk that included Rio, A Breezy, and various other artists. The mix tape was an introduction of him to the industry. Hearing the feedback from it, he decided to do his own mix tape Attack of the Clones, which is also available on www.datpiff.com, www.sltent.net, and www.twonyoungceo.com. This mix tape showcased even more of his talents. Shortly after Attack of The Clones was released, he took a break to focus more on his other artists’ projects. 2011 proved to be a big year for him and his record label. They would release their first single and video, “Put It In The Air”, and have a huge, successful release party for there mix tape “No Time Like The Present”. This is also available on www.datpiff.com and www.sltent.com. With all of the attention that his record label was getting, tension arose between him and his artists, so he decided to take a break from music and focus more on his family. At that time his daughter was three and his son was one. After about 3 months, he was back in the studio doing work on his upcoming free album “Like Shooting Stars”, which was released on his birthday February 23, 2013. With the release of his fist single, “Getting Paid”, which can be heard on www.youtube.com/sltentofficial and www.twonyoungceo.com and also being played on urbanindieradio.com, he caught the ear of a promoter that was looking for talent to open up for Kirko Bangz. Twon “Young CEO” is truly a force to be reckoned with. He delivers every time with banger after banger. 2013 is already shaping up to be a good year for this artist and he promises to continue to bring you good music that you can dance and relate to.
