Deborah, a New Orleans native who attended Thomy Lafon Elementary School, McMain Junior High School, and Walter L. Cohen Senior High School. Deborah has a Bachelors degree in Education from Southern University of New Orleans, and currently working towards a Masters Degree in Reading Literacy at Walden University. Deborah is also currently an elementary school teacher in the Gwinnett County School System. As a child her musical background involved singing with an R&B band formed by her father, and recorded two single records that were written and produced by her father. Deborah had continuous voice lessons four times a week with a voice coach at Big Q Studios, home of Jean Knight and King Floyd. Deborah's first recording was called "Its Time for Love" and the groups name was The Soul Emotions. As an adult her musical background involved singing in church, for weddings, entertaining elementary children and adults, musicals(Dream Girls, Nutcracker), and managed to keep her voice conditioned by singing music written and produced by herself. Deborah has had auditions with "Showtime at the Apollo", "Gimme the Mike" and sings in various cafe and clubs in Atlanta. Deborah's upcomming project will be taped and aired on UPN television networks soon. Deborah gives thanks to God Almighty for giving her voice to share with the world.To add to Deborah's singing career she also will be singing the National Anthem for the Gladiator's Hockey game in Atlanta, Georgia on February 25, 2005. Comming up in March 2006 Deborah will appear as a skater in the movie "ATL" formely Jellybeans featuring rapper T.I. and was also featured as an extra in the DVD movie "Proud Mary". On Feb. 11, 2006 Deborah will be featured as a guest on the new show on UPN called "Get Crunk ATL". Deborah's next big performance will be on April 3-4 2006 at the Jubilee Festival in Tennessee, and The Sweet Auburn Festival in Atlanta, Georgia on May 8-9. UPDATE: Deborah had the opportunity to film as a skater in the movie "ATL" featuring the rapper "T.I.", and also will be featured as a football fan in the movie "We are Marshalls" that will be in theaters in October 2006.
