Jordan Hunter is an aspiring 22 year old artist from North Carolina that has been writing music since the age of 8. He became more seriously involved with his music craft when he was a freshman in high school, which led him to consistently filling up notebooks with lyrics. Jordan has hit the top 59/200 national chart for internet radio airplay and 17/40 for top independent artist for one of his songs entitled “Drop”. Also, he’s performed shows at “Studio Seven” in Greensboro NC, The University of North Carolina at Greensboro, James Madison University, and the “Blue Nile” in Harrisonburg VA. Some of his most recent work includes a song entitled “Really Tryna Go”, which features the rap sensation Cory Gunz from Young Money (YMCMB). He plans on releasing a mixtape sometime in mid-2014. Jordan Hunter makes music for all genres. He uses heavy bass beats and unique rhyming techniques that often include a lot of “punch lines” and wordplay along with catchy hooks to club or ride to. One of his songs that have had a lot of attention is called “God I need you”, which can be found on worldstarhiphop.com or on YouTube. It’s a very powerful song that he wrote during one of his most tragic times growing up. Some artists that have influenced his music are Michael Jackson, Lil Wayne, Aaliyah, Drake, Bob Marley, Wiz Khalifa, Justin Bieber, Tupac, Alicia Keys, Eminem, Lauryn Hill, and many others. Jordan is the founding member of a up and coming group named “Come Up Krew (CUK)” that has a lot of upcoming plans in the entertainment industry.
