Santa Hooked Me Up is a Christmas album album by R&B group B2K, released on October 29, 2002. It was released just two months before the release of the group's second album, Pandemonium!. The lead single from the album is called, Why'd You Leave Me on Christmas, and a music video was shot for the song. (wiki) ------------------------------------------------------------------ R&B boy band B2K always seemed market-savvy, so it's only natural that they should get into the Christmas game with SANTA HOOKED ME UP, an album of holiday tunes done up in hip-hop/R&B style. Though the young quartet is best known for a romantic sound capable of melting hearts at a thousand paces, they open with a rare non-love song, the title track, which celebrates the swag bestowed by old St. Nick. In fact, since they spend most of this disc indulging in hip-hopped up versions of classic Christmas tunes such as "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" and "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer," they hardly even get a chance to get slinky and sensual. A notable exception is "Sexy Boy Christmas," which will undoubtedly be the recipient of much repeat play by the band's many female fans. (by AllMusic)
