It's about when you have feelings for someone that you don't really want to have feelings for. It was finished within a half an hour and I wanted to perform it at a school talent show. I ended up going with a piano piece that I had spent all summer learning since I was limited to one. Sharpie Sharpie is about someone who I wanted to have with me forever no matter what and for the most part, sharpies are permanent. The Man Is Dead This streams from a disappointment with someone who I thought I knew better. At the same time people change and I wasn't sure if they had changed or if I had been wrong all along. Unbeatable I always found drama to be something so unnecessary and something I try to avoid. Some people like instigating that but I was never one of them. Easy Dying young can be interpreted literally and figuratively. This song is a bit more literal as I did not appreciate an artist (or a few actually) until they were gone. I wish I had recognized that we were walking on the same planet at one point.
